If you were thinking about getting a 3D monitor, now might be the time to do so. LG have partnered with Assassin’s Creed publisher Ubisoft to offer a free copy of the latest Assassin’s Creed PC title, Brotherhood, with all purchases of the LG D2342P monitor.

That monitor is one of the best 3D monitors available, scoring 4 / 5 stars on CNET and other top publications. The monitor’s just £180 on Amazon as well, so it’s quite a bargain.

LG are really pushing their 3D technology to gamers, and have already sponsored multiple seasons and tournaments for StarCraft 2 in South Korea, including the excellent LG Cinema 3D Special League won by DRG.

It’s worth noting that the sequel to Brotherhood, Revelations, will be hitting PC soon as well, on December 2nd worldwide. Let’s hope they update the offer with the latest title once it’s available!

The full press release follows below.

Slough, Berkshire, 16 November, 2011 – LG Electronics (LG) and leading videogame publisher Ubisoft have partnered to launch a new consumer promotion in UK and Ireland, to give away one free copy of  the Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood PC game with every purchase of  the LG D2342P 23” 3D monitor.

Running from the 1st November through to the 7th December, this offer is reflective of the strong partnership between LG and Ubisoft and the efforts and commitment of both companies to provide the ultimate 3D gaming experience with their products. LG, a leading manufacturer of 3D products, has a great deal of experience in designing and bringing high-quality 3D screens to market to give consumers the best gaming experience with games such as Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood.

After extensive testing of the Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood game on the LG 3D monitors, Ubisoft were so impressed with the results that they began working with LG to offer the gaming bundle to provide consumers with the ultimate 3D gaming experience.

“We are delighted to partner with LG to offer Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood to consumers in a way that enables them to enjoy this action packed, visually stunning game in its full glory,” said Chris Marcus, commercial manager at Ubisoft: “With LG’s pioneering 3D technology, these monitors are the perfect solution for those looking to bring their gaming experience to life.”

Nigel Roberts, senior sales manager, LG IT Solutions, added: “Our 3D monitors range is perfect for experiencing games like Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood, which in turn really demonstrate the full potential of our innovative 3D technology.  With our Film Patterned Retarder technology (FPR), the monitors offer a brighter display, clearer images, and a “Flicker-Free” 3D picture, which gives users a much more comfortable 3D experience at a very competitive price. We are excited to be working in close partnership with Ubisoft and look forward to further demonstrating our commitment to bringing the ultimate gaming experience to consumers.”

The offer will be available at Currys, PC World, Amazon and other major retailers.
